The Most Recommended General Contractors in Miami — Measured on Leading AI Assistants

When someone in Miami needs a general contractor today, the question increasingly goes to leading AI assistants before it goes anywhere else. So we measured what it says — 4 checks in July 2026, using 4 different question styles, against 76 local companies.

Only 27 of those 76 companies were ever recommended: a 36% hit rate. BEST HANDS REMODELING, Dade Construction Corp. and John Bell Construction and 2 more came back most often, all of them named in 2 of 4 checks.

Why no "#1"? Because it wouldn't hold. Run the same questions again and the top name often changes, while the count of checks that named a company stays put — so the count is what we publish. A single mention isn't enough to make the list.

Miami fielded the 9th-largest cohort of the 26 metros we measured this edition — 76 general contractors.

Only 27 of 76

general contractors in the Miami cohort ever came up in AI's answers (36%). The full measured list:

Rankings are measured and cannot be purchased — sponsored blocks are labeled advertising and sit outside the ranked list.

Ask AI the same question twice and the answer can change. So we do not crown a number one. We publish how many of the 4 checks named each company. Companies named in more checks are the ones AI keeps coming back to. Companies named in only one check are not listed: a single mention does not repeat reliably.

Inside the Miami data

  • Google agrees with the picks: the board averages 4.7 stars across 267 combined reviews.
  • Not every winner sits downtown: Pembroke Pines, Coral Gables and Fort Lauderdale all placed companies on the Miami board.
  • Compared with the edition-wide average (33%), Miami's 36% sits above the line.
  • Repeat recommendations are rare here: only 5 of the 27 names came up more than once, and only those are published.

Common questions about the Miami list

Does AI recommend many general contractors in Miami?

27, out of the 76 we verified — 36% of the Miami cohort. Everyone else went unmentioned across all 4 of our July 2026 checks.

Who comes up most on the Miami list?

More than one. BEST HANDS REMODELING, Dade Construction Corp. and John Bell Construction and 2 more were all named in 2 of the 4 checks. We don't break that tie, because a tiebreaker would be our choice, not a measurement.

Why don't you rank the Miami companies 1, 2, 3?

We tested it. Running the identical questions a second time moved the top name in a large share of markets, but a company named in most checks was named in most checks again. The reliable number is how many of the 4 checks named you — so that's what the page shows, and equal counts share a group.

Which questions produced the Miami list?

We asked 4 homeowner-style questions, such as "Who is the best general contractor in Miami, Florida?", and logged each company AI named in response. All the phrasings we used are shown above.

Is a spot on the Miami board for sale?

Never. The board is measured, never sold: the only way on is to be named by AI in our checks. Money cannot buy a place on this list. Anything advertised alongside it is labeled as advertising.

How current is the Miami list?

The numbers on this page are from July 2026. Each quarter we re-measure with identical methodology — the counts can and do change between editions.

New — not rankedFree listing · not measured, not scored, not a ranking

New to Miami? These general contractors are just getting started.

Everything above this line was measured. The list on this page comes from asking AI assistants real questions and counting who they named — no one can buy their way onto it.

This section is different, and we want to be plain about it. The businesses below are brand new. They have not been measured, they have no rank and no score, and they are not part of the list above. They are here because they asked to be, we checked that they are real, and a business that opened last month has no way to show up in a ranking built on history. Nobody paid for a spot here — it is free, and it is not an endorsement.

Just opened a company in Miami? You can be the first one here.

Tell us who you are and we'll add you to this section — free. It is not a ranking and it will never say you are ranked, because you are not: you are new. When we re-run the benchmark, a real spot on the list above is something you earn, not something we hand out.
